We’re back in the studio with a brand new guest mix!

This week, we are excited to welcome Conor ‘SouthPaw’ Brown, an open-format DJ who’s been tearing up the Toronto scene since 2008. Known for his versatility, SouthPaw can adapt to any crowd, whether it’s techno, house, rap, or everything in between.

Having played at iconic spots like Harvest Festival, Cherry Beach, Promise Parties, Kinetic, and Not Another Gay Dance Party, SouthPaw is no stranger to the scene.

Currently, SouthPaw holds residencies at Steamworks (techno & house), Craft (rap & house), and has even launched a fresh park hangout called Bocce & Beats in the city. Most recently, he played a late-night rave at —expect nothing but fast and rolling techno vibes.

Jana came on earlier in the year to represent her event company .yyz, but is now returning for our monthly takeover brought to you in part by !

For those who dont know Jana, she is a DJ and producer residing in Hamilton, Ontario. While placing significant focus on techno and its subgenres, she also works within the realms of drum and bass, jungle, breakbeat hardcore, and 2-step UKG. Her sets capture the diverse sounds of the electronic landscape, spanning from dark and hypnotic with gritty industrial undertones, to groovy and full of bounce with the colouring of lush trance elements. Jana’s productions demonstrate a dedication to exploring different styles and sounds and have been released on labels such as Lazuli Records (including the Lazuli Black and Lazuli Red sublabels), The Acid Mind Recordings, Crisis of Man, Black Square Recordings, Ekstasis, and Omen Recordings.

Aside from the music, Jana integrates her photography work and design skills into her projects to cultivate complimentary visuals for releases and events. She is inspired by the beautiful landscapes and cityscapes both in Canada and beyond and allows that to shine through in her creative works.

aka Lindelani Mangaliso, is a producer and DJ from South Africa with a deep passion for music. He has developed a distinctive style that has garnered several awards including the MAMA Provincial Awards and 031 Awards Hustler of the Year. Lidzcapo released amanzotho Ep which was supported by the likes of black coffee and shimza. This year he released 2 singles at maverk records which was selected by traxsource afro house weapons for 2 months.

ARIINA, brings a fresh perspective to the techno genre by having an illustrious career spanning over 14 years of DJing, and curating a rich discography, showcasing her masterful production skills on esteemed labels such as Gain Records (IT), Plazma Records, Music4clubbers (IT), Lazuli Records, Berlin Techno (GE), MDLbeast Records (KSA), and T records (NL).

Her recent release on the KSA-based label MaestroLab, dropped on June 27, and features two tracks: “Sacred Paradise” and “Domino Effect.” Additionally, she will release a new techno single in August on the Netherlands-based label T records. You can listen to and purchase her music on all major streaming platforms.
