📅 February 14, 1990 – The Mystery Begins

It was Valentine’s Day in 1990, and the Chicago Bulls were set to face the Orlando Magic in a regular-season game. Everything seemed normal—until something shocking happened right before tip-off.

😱 Stolen Right Before the Game!

At some point between the team’s arrival and warm-ups, MJ’s #23 jersey was stolen from the Bulls’ locker room. The team searched everywhere, but they couldn’t find it.

There were no backups. The Bulls didn’t carry extra #23 jerseys! So, with no other option, Jordan had to wear a nameless #12 jersey.

🔥 Jordan Still Went Off!

Even without his usual #23, MJ played like a beast. He dropped 49 points on the Magic and nearly carried the Bulls to victory. Unfortunately, the Bulls lost the game 135-129 in overtime—but Jordan still proved he could dominate no matter what number he wore.

🔎 The Jersey Was Never Found!

Despite efforts to track it down, Jordan’s stolen jersey was never recovered. Who took it? Nobody knows. 🤷‍♂️
