Listen, the show might be on hiatus, but "Say What?!" will NEVER die! Weird news new ends!

🤔 Hey friends, remember last week when we said our schedules have been crazy and we would prooobably see you next week?

Well, things happen.

If you've been keeping an eye on the news today, then you've likely heard that full-time support staff at Ontario's public colleges are officially on strike. And even though you hear OUR voices on Rock on Record, there's actually a large group of invaluable support staff behind the scenes, and THEY'RE the ones that ensure the radio station runs smoothly. As such, we respect their right to fight! 📣

Until further notice, Rock on Record will be on hiatus and will not be playing on INDI 1015. However, we're still here! And there! And everywhere! (Not really, but we're on our socials and checking our emails). 📧

☀️We're in the middle of the Labour Day long weekend, and it all concludes tomorrow with one of the best rivalries out there. It's the 54th Labour Day classic!🏈

Also, due to more unexpected scheduling, it'll be another Kay Solo show today.

🏉But going back to the Labour Day Classic for a minute, I decided that in spirit of the game, I would dig through some of the stats from this long lasting rivalry to get us hyped for the game!🏟️

So it looks like this Sunday will be another Kay Solo show (yeah, scheduling has been nuts this year). But it'll be a great show including another edition to the fan favourite "Frost Block Album Side." Tune in this Sunday from 2-4 on INDI 1015 to hear the A-Side of T.Rex's 1972 album "The Slider"

😺 Not much bad luck today, just a while lot of love for black cats on National Black Cat day, and a whole lot of love for great music on Rock on Record!🐈‍⬛

🥀Though it happened a couple of weeks ago (we didn't have a show last week), we recently lost yet another amazing music recently, Terry Reid. An immense talent that selflessly handed off the keys to the musical kingdom; not once, but twice. Kris pays tribute to the life and work of Terry Reid on today's show.🎸

What else to expect on today's show:
- How weird is too weird? It's rhetorical question, there's no such thing as enough. So we got some "Say What?!" stories for you
- Probably more debatable than you would think, but are the "big four" in Classic Rock?
- Get those brains working, we're doing a little rock trivia today!
