One night only – LOGGING ALGONQUIN screens November 19th at 6:45pm. A documentary that looks at the historical and on-going logging happening in Algonquin park. Through conversations with indigenous locals, scientists, foresters, and political experts, the film asks the question “Does logging belong in our modern day park?.”

Featuring a post-screen Q&A with director Conor DeVries, leading a discussion about old growth trees and logging in Algonquin park. Joined by Kate Krelove, an Ontario Campaigner for the Wilderness Committee with 40 years of work protecting nature and advocating for stronger climate action.

Yesterday afternoon’s event AI ‘m a Storyteller too! - a deep discussion about AI in the arts went off brilliantly. A great audience seemed enthralled with a panel I sacked with talented Artist friends, including Graphic Novelist, Painter and Illustrator with a powerful intellect, Kevin Mutch. He knew I admired this particular work of his, “Artist Brain”. It has an incredible story to its creation, utilizing a art history of techniques including AI. Now I have a print of my own. Go see Kevin’s show at 905HLWY gallery, 305 Ottawa St N Hamilton until November 5th.
