www.MarkZelinski.com Canadian Governor General’s Medal-winner, member of The Explorers Club, Royal Canadian Geographical Society Fellow, Mark Zelinski has enjoyed a diverse career as a professional photographer since 1977, and is also a publisher, professional speaker, videographer, writer, painter, filmmaker and speaker. Trained as an artist and a designer at OCAD, Mark has published nine internationally acclaimed photography books, which include forewords by Prince Philip, The Honourable Lincoln Alexander, AFN Ontario Regional Chief Isadore Day and The Right Honourable Justin Trudeau. In 2010 Zelinski launched “Books That Heal” - donating 8,000 copies of his books to 100 charities worldwide to aid rescued victims of human trafficking, child abuse prevention, homeless youth, addiction counselling, crime prevention and literacy.

In 2017 Zelinski launched “Heart Of Turtle Island: The Great Escarpment”. Through Mark’s images, and through the personal accounts of conservationists, scientists, and residents of the diverse Indigenous and settler communities that thrive along its rugged, curving path, readers can experience a multi-layered perspective of the living escarpment. “Heart Of Turtle Island: The Great Escarpment” addresses compelling social and environmental issues and reveal some of the most unique and fragile gems of The Escarpment. In 2017 Zelinski also released "Canada's Royal Garden" a new book featuring stunning photography of the sanctuary lands, events, people and famous garden areas of Royal Botanical Gardens (RBG), the biodiversity hotspot of Canada, and an internationally respected cultural, education, scientific and tourism organization.
