Friday night was a returning client's Holiday Bash at Cable Wharf. Wonderful venue and food and staff! Lots of guests' requests, quite a variety of styles. Tonight is the last Christmas party this year at the Buffalo Club. Next Saturday will be a super Birthday party then NYE Celebration in Lawrencetown.

Another weekend of Parties! Guess the venue? Lots of snow on the way home. All good. Made it home safe and sound. Had to shovel a path or two here there to get the four wheel dolly / cart moving from venue to the car. Shovel at home a small snowbank to clear a path from the street to the apartment garage entrance. Let's do it all again at Saturday's party. Without the snow this time please.

Doors recently opened. Buffalo Club Eastern Passage. 90s dance and Silent Auction. Athletes of Scotia Cheer All-Stars. Limited tickets at the door. Usually a sell out. Lots of great items to bid on. Also raffle table, 50/50 draw. Great food cooked up in the canteen kitchen and great drinks and friends.

Wonderful weekend of DJing. An Awards Gala Saturday Night at The Westin Nova Scotian. Sunday morning to afternoon was Motionball For Special Olympics at The Canada Games Centre. Great energy at both events. Fun music too. Amazing people.

Master of Parties. There is not enough space to sing all of Mike’s praises! He was incredibly helpful, professional, and responsive during the planning process. He showed up early for the big day, was extremely thoughtful in the pre-ceremony music (playing my favourite artist when he knew I’d entered the building and was waiting for the ceremony to start). Weeks later, and our guests are still raving about the dance floor, even requesting a playlist from him to relive the big day again. 11/10 Mike - you were the best!

One of the most entertaining wedding ceremonies. You had to be there. A wonderful Wednesday wedding at The Barn at Sadie Belle Farm. Congratulations Bre and Geoff. Fabulous vendors and the venue owners were all excellent along with their great friends and family. Simply an amazing wedding celebration. Always hire a professional photographer. They did and these pics are by a DJ. Looking forward to the pro pics!

Happy Wedding Wednesday! A first for us, a wedding on a Wednesday. Another first is going to a venue for the first time, looking forward to it. The couple's music tastes look like a lot of fun. Cannot wait. The Barn at Sadie Belle Farm here we go!
Then Saturday a special anniversary party for a couple that we DJ'd an amazing wedding on their property, will be back there again. Love DJing! This is a non pro pic by me of our amazing Cow Bay/Eastern Passage Community Loved Couple last year.

Melissa from Paige and Peacock Event Design handled my questions from start to finish and created a day we will never forget. She managed the ceremony at the lake as well as the dinner and reception downtown, making sure everything flowed seamlessly. All we had to do was show up!

Truly Scrumptious created and delivered the most amazing gluten free cake ever, as well as beautiful cupcakes for guests.
Zanderjaymz came to our home for makeup for me and also did a light makeup for my mom. He was phenomenal!

Brooks DJ Entertainment - the fact that the dance floor was packed from start to finish says it all. We provided our ‘favourites’ and our ‘we don’t like’ songs, and Mike created the energy that kept everyone moving! Warning- wear comfy shoes cause you won’t want to sit down! 💃🏼

Venue - Laura from the Tap Room was a dream to work with. From the cocktail hour food, to the delicious huge portions for the meal, to the passed trays and snacks at the reception, we were very well taken care of.
