Hey everyone, hope you all got to experience a good festival season this summer.

Now that we're back in the clubs, I just wanted to remind everyone about our long anticipated booking with Charife, supported by Nick Nonsense and Wall of Sound. This is a little over a week out (Sept. 20, 2024). Tickets are moving pretty quick, if you'd like to join us on the intimate and enthusiastic dancefloor, make sure to buy your ticket now (see poster/Facebook event for how to do that).

If you have not experienced the amazing sounds that Charife plays, let me just say that he is probably one of my personal favourites. Techno that is driving but melodic, and a constant high energy level. We used to play a lot of the same tracks actually, for a time. So I am putting myself fully behind how good this will be. Don't sleep on this one, seriously.

We'll also have some form of changes for deco and lights to provide a great environment for us to dance in. But with Stellar, the music is always going to be our top priority, especially as we grow. Thank you all for coming out to our shows and letting us bring something fresh and different to the available musical soundscape.

Never one to shy away from incorporating a blend of both organic and synthetic elements, her sets are a true fusion of forward thinking, quality underground music. With tracks that have an affinity towards unrelenting growling basslines, dark and melancholic harmonies, and a predominance of staccatoesque percussive elements, they're hypnotic and seductive while still maintaining a sense of urgency and ominous destination. Driving a desire to dance is always at the forefront for Aviatrix when considering what to play. "A fixture on the East Coast electronic music scene for more than two decades, Sean has earned the respect of electronic music lovers, DJs and promoters all over with his intelligent and smooth storytelling blend of organic and progressive house. A true technical perfectionist who combines outstanding programming skills with near flawless ex*****on all while playing to the atmosphere in which he is performing, Sean once earned himself the reputation as one of the most consistent performers in the East. Sean's reputation in the scene grew and provided him with many memorable experiences having played alongside a very long list of some of the world's biggest headliners including Armin Van Buuren, Deep Dish, Danny Howells, Luke Fair, Steve Porter, Ferry Corsten, Kaskade, Calvin Harris, Darude and Sultan to name just a few. In 2003 Sean was lucky enough to play alongside one of the DJs ultimately responsible for his musical journey, Sasha. A very special club event that continued into the wee hours of the morning at a local after hours venue where Sean & Sasha treated a small, intimate crowd to an impromptu tag set that still remains as one of Halifax's most indelible electronic music memories. Somewhat more recently in 2011 Sean provided the winning mix in John Digweed's ""Structures Two"" international mix contest and was featured on Digweed's highly acclaimed radio show ""Transitions"". An accomplishment that even the most seasoned of international touring DJs aspires to. While Sean's live performances have become increasingly rare in recent years, his love for the music remains unwavering and he regularly releases new mixes in his long running mix series ""Chilling Moments"" which initially started as a SHOUTCast live broadcast through CyberDJs.ca and is now celebrating its 20th year.
