From the first time we heard Tré (maybe it was Caught It from the Rye) we were hooked. That album was on near constant repeat. His writing is poetic and so damn visual. We planned an entire trip through the West Coast with the hope of catching up with him during the summer of 2020. We left with a video of his song "Under the Devil's Knee" that by now y'all know.

We were excited at the chance to catch up with Tré at the Under the Big Sky Festival ( ). It had been a couple years and his new Album “You, Yea, You” had once again captured our full attention. Specifically, Dixie Red, the song he wrote when John Prine was hospitalized with Covid19. It was an honor that he offered it as the song for this session.
