As we enter 2025 I've been pondering how difficult it is to implement meaningful change into my life. Whether that's better sleeping or exercise habits or something else. New Year's resolutions or goals can be good, but I find it far too easy weasel my way out rather than putting the hard work in. In both the little and the big things, I'm realizing my need for Jesus to change me. Most importantly, to shape my heart to be more like Him, to love what He loves and hate what He hates. So this is my prayer entering 2025. God, change me to value the things You value, and to press on towards them in Your strength! Happy New Year y'all!

Hey y'all! We thought it was time to give some brief introductions to the face you'll typically see at the cafe 3/3.

This is Olivier. You'll find him behind the counter most days the cafe is open. He is president of Room 45-1 and manager of the cafe. He is a worship leader at his local church and is currently progressing towards a degree in Bible and Theology at Prairie College. His interests include words (in pretty much any form), theology, literature, and music.

This is Rosalyn. You'll usually find her behind the counter on Thursdays and Fridays. She is a loving wife, mother of six, and grandmother of eight. She homeschooled her kids for twenty-seven years and is now enjoying a part-time return to the workforce helping out at the cafe. Her interests include cooking, reading, crocheting, and music.

This is Jamie. You'll find her behind the counter most Tuesdays and Wednesdays. Along with her husband Brandon, she is a youth leader at her local church and is passionate about ministry, specifically equipping others to lead and serve well. She attended Kaleo on Vancouver Island and has aspirations for further education. Her interests include philosophy, poetry, camping/hiking, horseback riding, historical fiction, and children's literature.
