Caralyn Taylor music lessons from The Hive. Caralyn Taylor holds a BA in Jazz Studies from Capilano University and Vancouver Community College. She is an experienced performer and dedicated teacher with a passion for any music that swings. Caralyn teaches contemporary voice, guitar, piano, applied theory, songwriting and arranging to students of all ages and levels and particularly enjoys teaching singers how to accompany themselves while they sing. Her education and performance experience have empowered her with a unique ability to understand the needs of her students and the facility to adapt learning materials to their unique creative goals.

Well that was an amazing night! The bands were awesome, the turn out was great, the energy in the room was fantastic. What an amazing musical artistic community we’re part of here, and community in general. The support for me and the Hive has been incredibly heartwarming. I want to thank everyone who reached out, who came out, who helped me, who sent kind words of support and encouragement, my friends who gave their time, the bands who donated their time and talents, and all my friends who use the Hive. You all had my back, I’ve never felt anything like this before, and I’ll never forget it. I especially want to thank my good friend Scott Reinson who went the extra distance and organized Hiveapalooza. You’re a gem kind sir!
