Just an update about my ongoing hospital stay. Late Thursday evening I was rushed by ambulance to Health Sciences North in Sudbury due to a blood clot behind my right knee. This story all began weeks ago at Christmas with an intense Charlie horse symptoms in my right calf. Never really thought more about it more after it finally subsided & physio and chiro people diagnosed me with plantar fasciitis because I was having issues putting weight on my right foot. So Thursday morning came 3 weeks later. I woke up with a lot of red swelling on my foot and my little toe turning black with large blister. Next I was to off to the Elliot Lake Emerg. I am thankful that we had the CAT scan. Which the new doctor to me qu**ky diagnosed a blood clot has been. I must say the EL Emergency staff were there for me, acted fast and very professional. So a midnight ambulance ride to Sudbury. Emergency surgery to restore circulation to to my foot. Apparently that the bloodclot started in my heart broke apart and travelled down to my leg weeks ago. I don't want to think about the worst case serenios about this clot. I had Bed rest...they just got me up to sit in a chair. The Vascular surgeon here is awesome. He has been explained all my options...he been here to visit every morning even on weekend mornings before 8 am.

Worst case...I definitely would of lost my foot or my leg. But I on hopping on my heel for now.
