While Tropical Depression Debby is expected to bring a soaking to parts of Southern Ontario tomorrow, it appears that we will be getting shafted by the strong wind gusts.

Here is a look at the National Hurricane Center’s map showing the probability of tropical storm-force winds over the next few days.

The current track of Debby takes it right into Quebec and New Brunswick with the tip of the strong winds penetrating parts of the Maritimes.

Debby could bring severe wind gusts for parts of Quebec with gusts approaching 90-100km/h to the east of Montreal. Wind gusts will be a tad lighter as the system weakens over New Brunswick.

After tonight’s 15-4 win against the Nanaimo NightOwls, the Riverhawks have booked their spot in the 2024 West Coast League playoffs for the first time in franchise history!!

With the regular season still in progress, there are no confirmed dates or times for potential home playoff games yet. The divisional series is set to begin on Saturday, August 10th. The lower seed will host Game 1, and the higher seed will host Games 2 and 3 (if necessary) on August 11th and 12th.

Ticket details will be announced once playoff matchups and dates are finalized.
