This!
Happy hump day! Half way through your work week and I have a tasty treat for the you.
I am dropping my set, recorded live, on The Hive stage, from this past Motion Notion Festival, only on SoundCloud.

I went back to my roots and arranged a Deep Tech set in effort to create the pace and tone for the last evening of the historic return of MoNo this year.
During my hour, the sun was still shining as it started to dip on the horizon, I connected with friends and fellow Tech heads, dancing together. I was so hype and into the sound, that while I was playing, you will hear a break in the recording. In a moment, realizing my exuberance, I had loaded the next track into the open channel grinding the rhythm and flow I was building, to a halt. I left this in the recording, as an accurate depiction of the live experience. An authentic Thomas Culture throw down. You can hear how I salvage the moment, change it up and slip into Jack’n it, back in the groove.
My homie MC 3p OH, who was on stage with us, commented that some of his favourite DJ mixes are live recordings with all the raw moments that lead to magic on a dance floor, prompting those listening to experience a natural wave of electric sensations, prompting the tiny hairs to rise up, compelling the body to move! The way music is intended to land.
Big up to the festival organizers of MoNo, Groovy Cuvy for booking me, as well as Inter.Sect, Cabana/Space Invaderz and EDJE Sound for throwing a highly creative, professional and well managed stage. They hit the mark with The Hive and I am happy to have been a part of this stage’s three day line up.
