Ran into Jessie Madera, Von Hot Rod, Mobsteel Emma from Detroit Steel Wheel and Traci Hrudka and Diane Levine at the Quarter Mile Foundation (where they are giving away two of my prints generously donated by Trulers). It’s going to get busy when the show gets going

Well it was a good show and a nice visit with the Reverend. To top it all off he sent us home with new bandanas, some hot sauce and even some powdered peanut butter. He loved his gifts from Rig Hand Distillery and latest issues of GarageShots Magazine but said the one with the B (for Billy) had his favourite label

Tonight we were going through our tech specs as we prep the next issue of GarageShots and as usual we have to double check the “creative” names, spelling and creative capitalization (I’m looking at you IDIDIT (who I just realized uses no caps in their name unless it’s on facebook where they capitalize everything(oh and ignore my double brackets but I love them for using my truck in their ad)). Checking on AutoMeter Products, Inc. who uses this spelling on the FB, the old “one over the other” trick on their logo and the GarargeShots look of making it one word with two capitals.

We always endeavour to provide our readers with the most accurate work but sometimes it drives us beyond recreational levels of drinking on nights like tonight

A little tour of our show. Thanks to so many.

First thanks to all our volunteers that helped us put together this great charity show. With out you we couldn’t have done it.

Thanks to all that brought out their pride and joy to be a part of our show. We know how much love and work you have put into your rides and we are honoured to have you choose our show to be at this weekend.

Thank you to the folks that came out and walked around just to be a part of the event. You are a huge part of why we do what we do.

Thanks to the crews from of our local (and not so local) hot rod shops who came out with your whole crew (and some new folks brought along).

Thank you miss L (of the Wadson's Hot Rods group) for being our unbiased tag puller for so many prizes and for helping us with the presentations

The final numbers are still a little ways away but over 110 cars registered, over $450 raised with the 50/50. A little more was added to that after Chris Sewell had his ticket pulled. He looked at the stack of cash and pulled out a big fat red one to throw back into to pot to help our charity a little more. Thank you Chris.

Ladies and gentlemen, we did it!! Our 10th anniversary has come. There were those who maybe had their doubts when we started but volume 30 is out on the shelves at Indigo, Chapters and Coles across Canada and available stateside in Barnes & Noble and Books-A-Million. Bradly Tucker’s Truck is on the cover and even features a 55 Gasser from Count's Kustoms oit if Vegas. You may have seen it on Counting Cars or maybe you’ve just seen Darren Getting great shots of it before he did an in depth interview that will be featured in our special Counts edition coming out this fall!

Thanks to Mark Connolly of Cbc/Radio-Canada Edmonton for the on air chat this morning celebrating our 10 years of publishing. We started by just shooting and featuring great vehicles in the Edmonton area and people wanted to see more and more of our photography. We jumped the shark 10 years ago and put out the first edition of the magazine. Who out there can brag up they have a Volume 1?
