I got this text from Pamela last week:

“Hey Adam, I have something you can suggest on the radio. So my 97 year old grandmother is in a long term care facility and she is one who adores cards and letters in the mail. Because of this Canada Post strike, she has only received a couple cards from her local family that can drop them off but we could tell she was a little down about not getting her usual pile to open and read. My cousin who works for an elementary school bus line put it out there to her community page have some people write a card to out Grandma. We thought we would get some but there are now OVER 300 cards for her at my cousins house!!! We are trying to see if we can share the love and hand some of them out to other residents there. But maybe some schools or communities can fill out Christmas cards and deliver them to the surrounding care facilities in and around the city?? Would be a wonderful, magical Christmas boost for a lot of seniors I'm sure!”

Because of her words, my family made some Christmas Cards for seniors and dropped them off at a local home this past weekend!

If you’re not in the Christmas spirit yet, maybe you’d like to do the same! It sure felt great to spead some festive cheer!

Moo is a 15 year old kitty in need of a safe retirement home🏡 This black and white boy can take a while to warm up, but once he's feeling comfortable, he loves to get couch cuddles and take lots of cat naps😻 He needs a calm home with no other animals and no children.
