Here at we’ve held off posting for a few days while we struggled with the news of the passing of the great . It’s hard to put into words how much Kathleen meant to us at the label, to the Edmonton/Canadian comedy scenes and just in general to people who knew her. Kathleen was an absolute FORCE in Canadian comedy and was a walking “F*CK YOU” to the ‘wOmEn ArEn’T fUnNy’ crowd, which has helped encourage and pave the way for many women comics to come after her. More than that, she was an amazing friend and was expert level at what so many of us strive to do — make the people around us laugh and feel important. It is absolutely heartbreaking to know that she is gone, but there’s no doubt she’ll never be forgotten. It was our HONOUR to record her second album, and for our to produce her podcast for a few years. If you want a smile, we encourage you to go back and listen to some episodes of the podcast (Dead Baby Bear on all podcast providers) - these were really Kathleen at her best.

She also introduced to the cat the podcast would end up rescuing from the streets. And he will never forget that ❤️

Rest in Peace Kathleen. We love you ❤️
