On World Television Day, we look back to 1953, when Toronto, Ottawa, and Montreal were able to watch national programs simultaneously on the television for the first time. By using Bell’s modern Microwave Radio-Relay system, Canada was able to create a link between the three cities and later connecting to Buffalo as well.
