I breezed through my teenaged years with a few pimples here and there, which was nothing in comparison to the hell I were to face later on. I get cystic acne which hurts. It also causes my pores to be blocked which makes my overall skin texture less than desirable.. I started like everyone else with trial and error. Trying some oh so raved about products which were a flop for me. In my day to day

life people usually ask for my opinion because it will always be honest. 2023 has come and gone .

In the last few months I made the decision to prioritize my own well-being by ending some relationships that were no longer serving me. As I reflect on the past year, I realize that I had been investing my time and energy into relationships that were not reciprocating the same level of care and support.

Last year, as I juggled the demands of school and personal commitments, I started to question who I was prioritizing and how others were prioritizing me. It became clear that I had been watering dead plants, expecting them to bloom. The narratives spun to avoid taking accountability for their actions only reinforced it.

As the months went by and nothing about my life changed, I knew I had made the right choice. This year, I am committed to caring for the people who genuinely care about me. I am focusing on nurturing relationships that are built on mutual trust, respect, and support.

Letting go of relationships is never an easy task, but it was necessary for my personal growth and happiness.

As I embark on this new chapter, finishing school in less than month , I am nervous but excited.

Here's to a transformative year of growth, self-care, and meaningful connections. Cheers to 2024!
