NPP's director/producer, Eva Colmers just returned from Content Canada in Toronto which was - as always - well organized and worth while.
Sadly, the excellent kids panels and workshops were missing, this year. We can't help but worry about the fragile future of kids media. What kids watch is hugely influential and investing in appropriate programming for pre-school and school-aged viewers should be priority within our society.

Hence, I am delighted to read the insightful article by Agnes who summarized the present situation so eloquently:

Shaw Rocket Fund head Agnes Augustin suggests three ways the industry can fight for kids programming and be responsive to the needs of both the market and future generations.
