All what you need to know about

📍Location: Its located North lebanon, in Ajaltoun Valley 30 minutes away from Beirut .

❓Duration to stay: I recommend 2 nights so you can have a full day there from morning to night but 1 night is also enough.

🏘 Room Types:

Hanging Villas that have indoor whirlpool bath but no direct view , and fits 2 people.

Cottage suite : its the one we took as its the only room type that can fit up to 8 persons. (All other rooms fit up to 4 only)
Cottage have an outdoor whirlpool bath but its not hidden so anyone having a walk next to the cottage can see you.

🦅 The eagle nest : the ones in the background of this photo and for me its the best as it have a spectacular direct view to the mountains and valley.
It also have a private outdoor whirlpool bath where you can have it completely private.
It only fits up to 4 people.

💰 Price: Rooms start from 100$ to 400$ depending on how many persons you are and what room you are having.

🏊🏼‍♂️The POOL: and i think this is the attraction that make people come to Scappa.
Its a big pool (not too deep an adult can stand easily so its perfect for kids) and the most important this its with a VIEW. Its the most instagrammable spot in the resort. (Will post another photo for the pool soon so you can save it) and yesss BURKINI is allowed!
🍔Restaurant: the restaurant for lunch and dinner is very yummy so its great to try it instead of wasting time searching for nearby known restaurants.

Here are 3 tips if you are travelling to Lebanon soon

1- Do not exchange alot of $$ to Lebanese currency at once because $ rate keeps going up.
From 4 weeks 1$ was 25700 and today its 34450 lebanese lira

2- Pay for Resorts in USD because their exchange rate is higher than the daily rate.
I will do a post later about some resorts with prices.

3- There is more in Lebanon than just famous attractions . Although there is nothing wrong with that, I found the other cities and villages in Lebanon equally impressive.

Ramadan is the name of a month in the lunar calendar. Muslims consider this to be a very important month because its the month in which the Qur'an was revealed. Most people know it as it is the time when muslims fast from down to sunset, but abstaining from eating and drinking is actually the smallest part of it.
We see it as a spiritual bootcamp. We try to use this month to root out all evil and try to increase all our good deeds and pray that we are able to leave this month as more purified and better people. We try to become more knowledgable about our faith, and not just follow blindly. We try to be more charitable , we try not to gossip and slander , we try not to get angry, we try to pray and contemplate and reflect on our purpose in this world.
We try to be kind, honest, hardworking, patient. And we try to make this as a time where we focus on putting God first, and worldly matters second.
We try to fast not only physically, but also make sure our health gets a cleanse, and that our minds and heart get a cleanse. Its also alot about community, every single muslim around the world - doesn't matter the race, doesn't matter the nationality, doesn't matter the social status we all fast.
We stand side by side in prayer , and we all come together for the same reason : GOD

➡️Starting January 2022, the Federal-Provincial Child Care Agreement will start at

🔴It will take place in two ways:

1. Affordability grant (for all families regardless of their income and you don't have to apply for it)
➡️you will save 635$ from fees for full time (100 hour ) if u have a baby under 18 months no matter what is your income.
➡️u will save 510$ for kids between 18 months and 3 years old.
➡️ u will save 450$ for kids 3 years and up.

2. Subsidy (depending on family income bracket) and its different to each family depending on income

Save this post if you want to go Saudi Arabia as a tourist and perform Omrah.

1- first you apply to visa online at https://www.evisasaudiarabia.com/ . The visa costs around 152 CAD including health insurance . Its valid multiple entry for 1 year . With tourist visa you can go anywhere in SaudiArabia including Makkah and Medina and perform Omrah , but not Hajj.

2- Up to 72 hours before departure you should register on https://muqeem.sa/ . It is a vaccination Registration that you are fully vaccinated. If you are not fully vaccinated you can still go but you have to quarantine for 14 days in a hotel, and you have to show the reservation hotel before departure.

3- Once you enter the Kingdom you should sign up at Tawakkalna App (2nd picture) Its a proof vaccination for you that you need to show when u enter any indoor place . (malls, restaurants ....)

4- After signing up on Tawakkalna, you sign up in Etamarna to apply for Omrah permit, Praying in Haram permit .
You should have a saudi number to signup. There is option for other numbers but it wont work. You will have an error and you will not receive the confirmation code.

🍂Seasonal Affective Disorder, a kind of depression that effects 2% of population and i am one of them.

It happens with the sudden change of season from Summer to Fall or winter, here in Alberta starts from end of August with the rapid decrease in temperature.

Common sypmtoms are fatigue, loss of interest in daily life activities, difficulty remembering or making simple daily decisions like what to wear today, difficulty sleeping, experience blues , headaches, upset stomach , and/ or joint pain, and anxiety.

Every year in August and September my activity on social media and real life is minimal.

Save this post if you would like to rent a cabin at Sir Winston Churchill Park one day.

⁉️How to rent? And how many cabins available?

➡️There is 17 cabins in the area to be rented through reserve.albertaparks.ca. Book ahead of time as its always fully booked 3 months ahead.

⁉️How much does it cost?

It ranges between 140 Cad and 180 CAD per night depending on the cabin size.

⁉️ What is in the Cabin?

➡️Cabin has all kitchen basics, there is a kettle, toaster, microwave, coffee maker, stove, and some kitchen tools like knives, spoons, pots

⁉️ what to bring with you?

➡️Get you blankets, pillows and bed sheets. There is NONE.
Get ur shampoo too, tooth brush and toothpaste . There is handsoap.

⁉️What food to bring?

There is a President Choice supermarket at LacLa Biche town (7 minutes drive from the cabins) where u can get all snacks needed.

There is a dollarama also in LacLa Biche so u can get plates cups or whatever needed.
