It was a pleasure to celebrate the Faculty of Skills and Foundational Learning (FSFL) Day with this group. We had a good laugh earlier at how close we came to quitting. Thank you for sharing your struggles and small wins as we learn the ropes at work.

“You can’t have everything”, sabi nga nila. Kaya ayun, nagpasa na ako ng registration sa first job ko sa Roger’s Place as a support staff. Magpapahinga na rin muna ako as RBC Ambassador. Di talaga kaya ng powers. Dahil ito sa fulltime ko as college instructor na kahit two months lang e sobrang demanding naman.

Don’t get me wrong. Hindi ako nagrereklamo. Sobrang maganda ang sahod pero naninibago kasi ako sa everyday na pagtuturo. Yung parttime kayang kaya e pero iba pala pag araw araw dapat may topic ka haha.

Anyway, the good thing naman e pwede pa daw ako bumalik sa Roger’s Place as soon as may time na ako sabi ng manager ko. Yung organizer naman ng RBC Ambassador e cool din nung sinabi ko na pahinga muna ako. Sabi nya balik nalang ako sa fall term and she wished me well. In short, makakabalik pa ako if gusto ko! Itong opportunity to work for Norquest College as an instructor is opening so many doors narin. Salamat kay Papa God talaga.

Oh, I got my ECE Level 2 certificate na rin pala. That means kahit paano e may increase na ng konti ang sahod sa pagiging early childhood educator. Life is good pa rin! 🙏

Magdusa ka!

Feeling ko ang tagal na ng post ko bago nasundan. Grabe kasi pala talaga ang fulltime instructor sa LINC program ng Norquest. Sa Thailand once a week ko lang nakikita ang students. Dito everyday tapos may asynchronous moodle work pa na 9 hours a week. Saan ko kukunin in just a short time ang mga related activities na dapat swak sa level nila? Masyadong madugo!
