I can finally share!

🎉I am thrilled to announce that Masterpiece has been featured in magazine for a 2nd time this year.

⭐️It was just announced in the latest issue of Kirkus that Masterpiece is one of the Top 100 Indie Books of 2023! This is a Top 100 list for all indie books in all genres!

🥹This is such a surreal moment and I can’t believe the incredible journey that’s unfolded this year because of this special book.

🎄If you want to grab an autographed copy for the holidays, it still isn’t too late! The first hardcover print run of Masterpiece is almost sold out and I’m not sure I’ll be printing any more hardcovers, ever. So, if you have a hardcover, it may well be a special edition that won’t be available much longer.

Hey teacher!
in case you want to use Masterpiece in your classroom as a back to school read aloud to celebrate neurodiversity & inspire inclusion, understanding and creativity, I wanted to share these photos with you.

These are some examples from real students who read Masterpiece with their class last year and were then inspired to create their own masterpieces! So many amazing art projects happened!

CASA Mental Health is an established non-profit organization delivering mental health services to Albertans aged three to 18 and their families. CASA provides mental health service to the missing middle – mental health treatment for diagnosed children and youth, in between prevention and promotion in primary and community care, and acute treatment in hospital.

CASA Mental Health’s team of mental health professionals are trauma experts committed to delivering service in collaboration with community partners and offering hope to children, youth and families throughout Alberta. This includes assessment and treatment for up to 4,000 children, youth and their families each year, from community outreach settings to intensive treatment programs.

I am so excited that this special book is supporting such a fantastic local non-profit.

💚 A huge reason I wrote The Self-Love Book is to inspire positive mental health in children from a young age.

🧠 I firmly believe that positive mental health begins in childhood. I also believe that self-love is a big part of this.

❤️ We owe it to our children to teach them self-love starting as young as possible. My hope is that The Self-Love Book can be used as a tool by parents & educators to help inspire self-love in children.

📚I’m so excited to release the new edition of this important book out into the world.
