PMAA condemns attack on news director in Calgary

The Philippine Media Association of Alberta (PMAA) strongly condemns the attack on radio journalist Rishi Nagar, News Director at Red FM Calgary, on September 29th.

We are calling on the law enforcement agencies for swift action and to give justice to a member of the Press.

This chilling and unfortunate incident should have no place for working journalists, whose sole duty is keep the freedom of the press alive as this is the strong foundation of democracy and justice.
