simple reminders, important reminders.
this happens in my building mileage phase. the run/walk method WORKS. if you’re learning to run or getting back into it after significant time off or injury, don’t be afraid to walk.
this increases your overall longevity of your run as you would likely do less total running if you didn’t take a walk break. and soon just like me, you won’t sound like you just finished a half-marathon when you only ran for 20min. progress > perfection.
haven’t run in awhile?
try 5 min. easy, 1 min. walk. REPEAT 4-5 times.
