I took to long to get 🚩 4 and 🚩5 in the video so here they are in text!

🚩 #4: They have lots of followers. I'm gonna have a whole video on this. Often this means bought followers made to look good.

🚩 #5: They have no wins to show you. Always ask to see results with different brands. Then go talk to those brands! Ask what it was like to work with that marketing agency.

Social media marketing is an unregulated industry, and there are a lot of great marketers you can work with! I know tons and I'm happy to connect you to them. But... there is also a lot of bad ones. Some are awful because they have no interest in doing what they say they will do. They just take money.

Others may be inexperienced, but looking to make name for themselves (this was me at one point). That inexperience can be volatile (good or bad). So be careful with the digital marketer you choose. And don't be afraid to ask them hard questions like:

What metrics do you use to derive success?
How long will it take to see those wins?
What is a failure you had and how did you fix it?

It's your money that's paying them and you deserve to know these answers.
