Happy Valentine's Day!

Romance novels are big business. According to the Romance Writers of America, the romance fiction industry is worth $1.08 billion dollars a year, which makes it about a third larger than the inspirational book industry, and about the size of the mystery novel genre and science fiction/fantasy genre markets combined.

Often people enjoy reading romance novels because they provide escapism from everyday life. They allow readers to experience intense emotions and explore new possibilities. Romance novels offer a sense of hope, optimism, and inspiration that can be comforting and uplifting. They often allow readers to explore different relationships, explore their own dreams and desires, and find comfort in the knowledge that true love can conquer anything.
