What an incredible honour to be recognized for “Traditional Album of the Year” 🎻🎻🙏 We are extremely grateful to the Canadian Folk Music Awards / Prix de musique folk canadienne and to all of you for your support!! ❤️

It is a joy to be part of the vibrant traditional music community, and to bring people together through music. From festivals to dance halls, music unites us across cultures and generations. What a thrill to share the traditions of our roots, to represent BC, and to celebrate the music that first brought us together in Glasgow!

- had a really interesting session with Matthew Lien and co. last week. Every instrument recorded with Neumann KU100 binaural mic. The stereo image is unlike anything I’ve ever heard. We all wore headphones during tracking and there were times when I kept looking beside him behind me thinking the source was in the control room right beside me. It’s pretty special!

A photo from recording new album, Wind Rose, this past summer at Woodshop Recording Studios! This project has been in the works for several years, created and recorded with special collaborators between BC and Scotland.
