STRONG BACKS NEEDED!

I'm looking to move the console into the studio tomorrow (Saturday Oct 21) at noon. I need a couple more volunteers to help with the heavy lifting.

I've removed everything I could to lighten the load, and the legs will come off tomorrow. Still it's several hundred pounds.

I also want one person to position the dolly, and another to take video of the move. No strength required for those two.

I successfully expanded our patio by 12 pavers.

Will it drain properly? Maybe.

Are the pavers lined up properly? God no!

I had a couple friends (old co-workers) come by for a visit and impromtu jam yesterday. I got to to try out Jeff's new Rickenbacker 4003. It wasn't as uncomfortable as I was expecting and it sounded great.

I've taken on a ridiculous project: to restore a vintage Sony/MXI MXP-3036 recording console.

I don't entirely know how to do this, but I'll figure it out as I go and hopefully come out with an amazing peice of vintage audio history to use in my studio.

In part 2, I work on getting to the point where I have a mic signal going through the console and better understand the signal flow.
