Tantramar

It is highly detrimental to a community when a politician avoids taking responsibility and accountability for their actions. Such behavior undermines the very foundation of trust, transparency, and good governance that are essential for the well-being and progress of a community.

I am disheartened by the fact that only one presenter at the Tantramar council meeting last night advocated for the cessation of the war and an immediate ceasefire in Gaza. Another individual expressed feeling unsafe as a Jewish person in our community. Additionally, a significant protest in solidarity with the people of Gaza took place outside the council chambers. The location of the council meeting in Sackville is also unexpected. The speaker highlighted instances of violence against Jews in Sackville.
