I remember before the approval of my work permit. It was sunday in the Philippines and our live church service was on going online. At that time my work is done and I was listening to the worship while walking back and forth in the hallway of my workplace, praying and praising silently, my heart filled with gratefulness that even in the distance, even in the hallway, even in the workplace, God made a way to reach my troubled spirit.
I whisper to God, " Lord whatever the result of my work permit application, I know your ways are higher than mine and your plans are better than mine, pinakita mo noon pa ang katapatan mo sa amin, I will still trust you."
Few days after.. my result came and indeed, The God who made the heavens and earth showed His marvelous works and faithfulness AGAIN. 3 years work permit was granted.
I was supposed to have only 1 year dahil 1 year lang ang program ko but He showered His favor on me and made it 3 yrs. Sinabi ko pa Lord nanaginip ba ako? Ilang beses ko ito tinanong sa sarili ko. Tapos ilang beses ko chineck ung date kung 3 years ba talaga kasi baka namalikmata lang ako pero 3 years talaga ang binigay ng Panginoon sa akin. Hindi ko rin maipaliwanag kung paano pero ganon nga siguro talaga pag si Lord ang gumalaw, ma speechless ka nalang.
Alam ko hindi lang ako, even to each one of us, your prayer might not answered right now and maybe the waiting is taking a toll on you but hey look back. Look back again and you will see, how He has been faithful to you, to all of us!
There are so many things, not just the big ones but those little things that the Lord showed His grace on you and me and that is something to be grateful for.
Our timeline maybe different but we have the same Creator and same God who listens.
Who knows how to listen :)
I pray today you will look back again, and say thank you Lord hanggang ngaun, madami ng pinag daanan pero andito parin lumalaban :)
