Oh what Night! In celebration of the upcoming wedding of our dear friends Shelley and Devin we hosted our first house concert in 7 years, featuring the lovely and amazing Terra Spencer and Ian Sherwood. Thanks to everyone who came, now we’re all primed for the big event in November 💝

When Lisa and Warren blew the doors off Stanfest performing this song for the Gordon Lightfoot tribute we knew we had to capture the magic in the studio. Wow! What an amazing week it’s been for Brigid! We are overwhelmed with the love and support we received from everyone at our album release performances, and it wouldn’t have been possible without the help of so many people!

Thank you to Scott Ferguson at FMP Matrix for his keen ear and incredible mixing skills. He was able to take our vision and make it a reality.

Thank you to the incredible musicians who not only performed on the album, but arranged their parts to give our songs a rich depth of sound; Chris Terry, Doug Dean, Larry Bjornson, Nick Fisher, Anne Janelle, Kris Jones & Derek Jones. Thank you to our on stage performers John McKim and John MacLeod, and the lovely Clare Siobhan for opening our show with her beautiful and soulful tunes.

A big thank you to The Carleton and Marigold Cultural Centre for their wonderful performance spaces! We had two incredible shows at two incredible venues!

We also couldn’t have done this without the help of some very creative people! Thank you to Cara Piercey at MO Designs for working with us to rebrand our website, and design our logo, and CD artwork, to Myhomeapparel for our comfy merch, to Nick Gaines - Photographer: Arts/Sports & Entertainment for taking beautiful pictures for our album cover as well as at our Marigold show, and to Truro Buzz for sharing our event and having us over to the Hive for a chat and a chance to share our project with everyone!

If you’re shopping in Downtown Truro, please pop into Truro Brewing Company and try the “Someone Like Her” pineapple coconut sour beer! Jana Dellapinna (owner and brewmaster supreme) gave us the greatest honour by naming a beer after our song! She also hosted our album after party at the brewery, and has our CDs for sale there too! Her support of women in business is so inspiring!!
