As you may be aware, Victorian Epicure Inc. (“Epicure”) filed an assignment in Bankruptcy pursuant to the Bankruptcy and Insolvency Act R.S.C, 1985, c.B-3 on January 24, 2025 and MNP Ltd. was appointed the bankruptcy trustee (the “Trustee”) on January 27, 2025 (the “Date of Bankruptcy”).
You are receiving this email as based on Epicure’s records, you placed an order from Epicure prior to the Date of Bankruptcy.
This email is to inform you that the Trustee plans to use its best efforts to ship all orders placed prior to the Bankruptcy Date, with the Trustee resuming shipments on January 30, 2025. The Trustee is shipping orders to both Canada and the United States.
If the buyer accepts the shipment, they are also acknowledging that the product is being sold on an “as-is, where-is” basis, with all faults and defects, and without any warranties or guarantees, either express or implied. The buyer will be accepting the product in the condition in which they receive it and will agree that all sales are final and that no returns or refunds will be accepted. These terms supersede all prior negotiations, representations, or agreements, whether written or oral.
