Happy International Women’s Day to ALL women!

Over the last few years I’ve been learning more and more about the impacts of settler colonialism on women, and while I still have so much learning to do, I’m wanting to remind everyone today that we all need to be working towards dismantling the patriarchal colonial systems in place that continue to hold most women down, including trans women.

And the biggest step is starting to decolonize yourself if you were raised within a white colonialism system.

So today I say happy international women’s day and f**k colonialism. 💋

Just in case you are wondering, hate is not welcomed here.

I have no time or patience for it. EVER.

I don’t understand judging, harming and killing people for being who they are, and to do this to a child (and children), that is sick and twisted and I won’t stand for it, and not only won’t I stand for it, I will always advocate against it.

May we all stand together in our humanity to love and celebrate what makes us each unique and special.

May we all come together as community to support and protect those most vulnerable, to amplify and act as true allies beyond the comforts of social media.

May we all teach our children to love others regardless of their gender, race, socioeconomic status, disability, body shame and size, where they are from, the clothes they wear… you get the point!

This is not an idealistic wish, this is a wish of humanity that is possible for us all.

Get curious, soften your heart and to remove yourselves from this toxic doctrine that people are ‘sinners’ or ‘unworthy’ for being who they are.

I always find it so wild that so many hate crimes are done in the name of religion, which doesn’t seem very religious at all to me… 🤔 Love the sinner but hate the sin and all that jazz… ya not here. Not ever.

This is such a garbage way to live, in fear and in hatred and I want nothing to do with it other than standing up against it.

Never in my life did I think I would be talking about sexy spreadsheets but here we are!

The truth is that I am a firm believer that staying organized can help take your productivity to the next level and who doesn't want a more streamlined approach to things?

Here is your daily reminder that there is only one you.

We as humans have a tendency to want to look at what others within our industry are doing. Sometimes we can draw inspiration from observing, but other times we wend up unintentionally copying aspects that we admire or want to recreate.

I am here to remind you that you are special.
You are creative.
You are unique.

Stop comparing and focus on what sets you apart. Embrace your quirky awesomeness and roll with it!

Not only will you feel more aligned in your business, you will begin to attract your ideal clients by staying true to yourself.

Something I never thought of much before doing my embodiment training is the relationship to nature and life and business.

That even feels weird to admit as I have taken lessons from nature myself, but to stop and really lean into the lessons on a deeper level is something I am still learning more of.

Here are some ways we can learn from nature in this season of winter.

❄ Winter is a time of rest for many living things, so allow yourself to recharge during this peaceful time of the year.

❄ The winter quiet allows us space to reflect and listen with intention. It can be so easy to fill our heads with so much noise, causing overwhelm. Instead try to lean into the silence and see what might be there for you

❄ Stay grounded and true to your roots. Think of evergreen trees who weather all storms, including snow falls! They remain grounded even in the harshest of conditions, because their roots run deep and are strong. Use this time to reconnect with your values to strengthen your roots.

❄ Remember you are like a snowflake, unique and beautiful! There is often panic at this time of year, planning for what's ahead, goal setting and those are often distracted by looking for outside answers, but remember to stay true to yourself and your values and that will always outlast trends as there is only one you!
