Music lovers will be able to vote on a piece they feel best represents the piece ' Carnival of the Animals' , with the winner receiving a generous prize courtesy of the Chilliwack Metropolitan Orchestra!

I am so happy I got to facilitate this opportunity for our artists.

This was an hour-long pose at the live model drawing hosted by on Wednesday 18+ and Thursday 15+ from 6:30 to 9.

Working with acrylic paint in timed poses is difficult because you need to plan around paint drying. For added fun I sometimes make the model a character, in this case a giraffe girl🦒I think this came out ok overall, and probably will clean it up later and add a background.

I find two characters very difficult to draw, which makes great practice for the sketchbook. There is many things I've learned to keep in mind for the next time 😁

Gunslinger, some horse in motion practice, turned into an illustration for fun 😊 I can see that some of the ways I'm building the base shape needs to be altered to improve the flow.

An elf on a graffiti wall 🧱
I had fun with making a p***y character, so I tried pushing a little outside my comfort zone with the background. It was fun to doodle the graffiti.

Something a little different, I wanted to practice sketching interior shots. Hopefully they are decipher-able, as it's a lot of abstract shapes. I mainly draw characters, but I want to start making the overall image better 😁

First day of ! This is the first time I've run a booth and it has been loads of fun. Definitely a learning curve, and I will be making improvements for the next one, but I think it's going well so far 😄

🫣 My art is on display at the Heritage Park, for Taste of the Valley, this Friday 3-8pm and Saturday 10am - 6pm. It looks great next to all the other beautiful pieces on display, you can walk around and ponder there.

I also have a booth, where I will be selling prints, T-shirts, and other art. Come by and visit if you have a Chance 😉
