The International Ridge mountain range and Vedder Mountain is the view outside my office window. The constantly changing clouds, light, and snow cover makes interesting subject matter.

Railroad Pass, also known as Railway Pass, is a mountain pass north of Whistler and Pemberton, via Railroad Creek, to the uppermost reaches of the Hurley River leading to the old gold mining towns of Bralorne and Gold Bridge.

Railroad Pass gets its name from its potential as a possible route for a railway through the Coast Mountains. The Canadian Pacific Survey went through this area. The pass was investigated in the 1980s as a possible extension route for BC Highway 99 as a back door for the Whistler resort in case of geotechnical emergencies that would isolate the resort (a more southerly route used by Cayoosh Pass was chosen).

A group of peaks on the north side of the pass is called the Railroad Group and includes summit names like Locomotive Mountain, Tender, Caboose, and Handcar Peak.

Kluane Lake, Yukon. One of my favorite locations in all of Canada. I've been combing through my library of images lately and have identified many that are suitable for this new style of fine art images. One of the local First Nations bands hired me to fully restore 5 photos which were destroyed by water and sun damage. These past Chiefs will once again come to life using the latest in AI technology and Photoshop. This was by far the most challenging photo restoration project I've been asked to do and the client is thrilled with the results. Our local Mount Cheam figures prominently in their culture and I added one of my own images of the mountain, blended in with an entirely new background.
