Writing a little every day results in small, consistent gains. Writers can fit this work into the rest of their lives.

Which is better?

It depends.

The one that's best is the one you can work with.

Nobody chooses to buy a book because the author wrote the first draft in a week. They choose a book based on its content and quality.

Everywhere you look, publishers are pushing a new AI tool or talking about "cost per reader." They reduce an artform to facts and figures.

They forget that numbers do not buy books.

People buy books. And those books? They're made by people too.

Humanity is a huge aspect of art, and it always has been.

Anyone can publish a book. This year, the number of books being published is growing. Here's the truth: only you can publish your book.

Colleen McCubbin used to say that she wasn't a finisher. She was good at starting projects, but not at finishing them. A business coach encouraged her to change her mindset. Instead of looking at starting vs finishing, she would look at what was hers to finish. What could other people do for her?

Those questions encouraged her to work with experts. Now, she has a team, including an editor, an administrator, a marketer, and a coach. That team helps her bring compelling books by committed authors with collaborative communities.

How is marketing a book like roasting a turkey?

Well, it depends on several things, like your personality, your strength, your ability (i.e. patience) for following a recipe, and support from people like your housemate and your mother-in-law! This year's recipe called for shoving butter under the skin of the turkey, then soaking cheesecloth in more butter and wrapping that over the bird, and basting every 30 minutes.

Marketing is similar. Everyone has a different way of doing it, and some of those methods are meant for different books. At Siretona want to teach you a method that will work for YOU and YOUR BOOK.
