NEWS: WM2 DANCE CO. AUDITIONS!

WM2 [ DANCE CO.] is the Apprentice Company of W&M PHYSICAL THEATRE.
WM2 [DANCE CO.] offers apprenticeship positions for dancers who are nearing or entering a professional level. The program strives to provide these emerging artists with a ladder into the professional world by offering them focused training, challenges in the rehearsal process, and opportunities to develop and mature as performers.

WM2 DANCE CO. was created in 2009 with the goal of developing apprentice dancers, providing them a ladder into W&M Physical Theatre or other professional companies.
The ensemble will consist of 4-7 dancers aged 18+.
There are both paid and unpaid positions for performers who demonstrate that they are emerging professionals looking for opportunities for development and growth, or younger artists nearing entry into the profession. This is an initial 10-week contract, January - April 2024. A continued WM2 contract for the 2024-2025 season may be possible.
We are seeking dancers with strong contemporary dance techniques. Dancers with other backgrounds and a high mastery of their craft are also encouraged to apply.
Commitment, enthusiasm, and a strong work ethic are highly valued in this environment.
This is a 9-12 hour-per-week commitment.

Auditions will be held for WM2 COMPANY for the first time since 2018/2019. WM2 was created in 2009 with the goal of developing apprentice dancers, providing them a ladder into W&M Physical Theatre or other professional companies.

There are both paid and unpaid positions for performers who demonstrate that they are emerging professionals looking for opportunities for development and growth, or younger artists nearing entry into the profession. This is an initial 10-week contract, January 2023-April 2023. A continued WM2 contract for the 23/24 Season may be possible.
