We’re kicking off season 3 of the CPI Podcast with an episode in collaboration with J-Source.

It feels like politics and the media have become increasingly divisive in recent years.

On top of that, the words we use to describe our values — like democracy, truth and freedom — are loaded with dual meanings, leaving many of us wondering: Can we reclaim our political language?

Award-winning author and journalist Carol Off joins host Gabriela Perdomo to discuss her newest book, At a Loss for Words: Conversation in the Age of Rage, and how journalists can continue to seek the truth in an age of misinformation.

Listen on our website, thepodcaststudio.ca, or wherever you get your podcasts!

You can learn more about Off and her book at j-source.ca.

All episodes of Surge in the City: Beyond Basketball are now live!

Today we’re highlighting Episode 1: Starting in the City!

The Surge’s first season showcased their dedication and talent, launching them from rookies to crowd favourites. But the team’s story began long before the first tip-off in May 2023.

In this episode, host Lucy Beauregard talks with three people who have been with the team before it was even the Surge — Chairman Usman Tahir Jutt, Vice-Chairman and President Jason Ribeiro, and Vice-President Dylan Howe.

Listen wherever you get your podcasts or through the link in our bio!
