All aboard for a journey through history!

This grand lady is the **Empress 2816**, a remarkable 4-6-4 Hudson-type steam locomotive dating back to 1930. She's the oldest surviving locomotive of her class in the world, and a true marvel of engineering.

The Empress 2816 spent years hauling passengers across Eastern Canada in style. Now, she's a restored and operating heritage locomotive, offering unforgettable rides for train enthusiasts and history buffs alike.

Big News & A Big Thank You!

It's officially time to say goodbye to Kvaka Shop and hello to **ItsMira**!

Four years ago, at the start of the pandemic, "Kvaka" Shop (my nickname in Slovakia, by the way!), was born from a need to sew masks and scrub caps for our community. While the name had a special meaning to me, it definitely wasn't the easiest to remember or pronounce.

Then, well, life threw me a curveball (thanks, Covid!), and while I was recovering from getting sick in Europe, it hit me: It was time for a rebrand!

⭐️Introducing ItsMira⭐️ A name that reflects who I am and what I do. It's got my real name in it (bonus points if you can guess which part!), and it represents the many creative sides of ItsMira:

* Video editing
* Photography
* Social media content creation
* Sewing unique products
* Designing broadcast graphics, graphics for clothing & more!
* Using sublimation and heat transfer vinyl to bring my ideas to life

ItsMira is a proudly Canadian small business, located right here in Calgary, Alberta. It's not gramatically correct, but that's okay! My point is that nothing is perfect in life, and that's perfectly fine.

This little shop wouldn't be here without YOU! Huge thanks to everyone who's supported me since the Kvaka Shop days. Losing my job during Covid was tough, but you, my amazing family, friends and community helped me reinvent myself, and for that, I'm incredibly grateful.

Here's to 4 years of creativity, and many more to come! Stay tuned to see what ItsMira cooks up next!

Stunning clifftop walk from Puerto del Carmen to Puerto Calero in Lanzarote, with a beautiful Foxtail Agave!

Amazing scenery of this cliffside walk. It's approximately 5 km one way. This unique succulent is known for its curved flower stalk, which resembles a fox's tail.
