Trying to reduce waste whenever you go out? Try the BYO app! On it you can find participating Cafes that allow you to bring your own containers. In this video we visit The Kind Cafe located in Mount Pleasant and try out the app.

Pandemic Throwbacks: The Campus Tour
MULTIMEDIA: It was the Spring of 2021 and among the many things the pandemic had changed, not being on campus was one of them. Which is why our brave Multimedia team decided to take a trip out to SFU Goldcorp Centre for the Arts in hopes to capture the essence of student life under such trying times. Unfortunately...they did not succeed.

The SUB Minecraft Build
Students over the past few years have been eager to see and use Simon Fraser University's new SUB. With the COVID-19 pandemic going on, it seems like this dream of experiencing the space will be put on hold for now. Instead, we created the next best thing, The SUB in Minecraft.
For any Minecrafters interested in checking out the build, here are the world files:

Steps:
1. Download
2. Unzip
3. Place this provided folder in your .minecraft/saves folder
4. Open in Minecraft
5. Enjoy!
To recreate the atmosphere, try out the BSL Shaders which we used for the final renders.
