It’s the last day for the American Towman Expo 2025!

Caught up with JerrDan about the unveiling of their new light-duty wrecker integrated MPL-40, featuring a subframe with ground compacting spade feet to assist with light-duty recoveries, and saw the all electric wrecker and carrier from Horizon Motors, which offers 60 percent less fuel costs with an 8-hour battery, the largest battery in its class.

Had a blast, met up with some Canadian towers, and met some new friends. Hope to see you all again next year, Nov 19-21!

NRC Industries (from right here in Canada!) is celebrating their 50th anniversary with several exciting new products: the QuickSwap reinvents their popular detachable unit to include a boom, their Evolved CSR-65 is a refresh featuring a boom with 50 percent more power, and their Lift-IQ continues to impress with its advanced lifting chart.

Also showcased here at ATE 2025 is the first truck manufactured by NRC Industries by Norbert Pigeon in 1975. Found rusted in a field, it’s been restored and matched with a 2025 carrier to show the difference 25 years makes.

Big congratulations to all the winners of this year’s WreckMaster awards: the Top Ten WreckMasters and Donnie Cruse Recovery Award recipients, and the 2025 WreckMaster of the Year, AJ Johnson!

“Are we truly alive in what we’re doing?” Lead Instructor Bear Godfrey asked, impassioning tow operators everywhere to look at towing not as just work but as a passion.
