Guess what everyone is getting for Christmas?!? Something homemade!!!❤️❤️❤️ It's not that I don't buy gifts but it has become so commercialized that shopping just doesn't seem fun anymore. And I would love to tell you that creating gifts is less expensive....but it's most definately is not...quite the contrary.🤨 All of the supplies, the time and the mess. Currently it looks like a craft store has moved into my house but it has the flu!!!🤣😂🤣

As Remembrance is only a couple of days away... Lisa and I painted poppy bouquets.

"LEST WE FORGET" a humbling reminder to honor the sacrifices of those who have served and died in wars for generations to follow. A lesson and a warning of history and the importance of preserving peace during future conflicts.❤️

What is one artsy crafty medium that you overthink? Mine is yarn specifically used for knitting and crocheting. I overthink the yarn itself, the patterns, the symbols in the directions, the hooks and needles, the texture before and after...etc

The first scarf on the left took me extra time trying to create a simple pattern...I stitched, tore it out, stitched again, realized it was too wide, tore it out...finally figured it out....DONE.❤️ The scarf on the right was much quicker as I already had my simple pattern figured out.❤️ Now the one on top has me baffled...same yarn...just a different colour....totally different texture!!! It's thicker and stiffer...like I said...same exact brand and weight of yarn. Why???😭😭😭

Can you help? I truly have no answers to my own question.🤨
