I really can't believe that Facebook doesn't do its homework enough and figure this s**t out!!!! People are consistently getting scammed!! Between social media, emails, text messages and phone calls, it's no wonder people decide to live off grid!

Here's something fun you could do...

Post on your either your personal or business page and ask if anyone would like to do a "dance" card with you. A dance card is the opportunity to set up a date, in-person/online/phone, with someone you don't know that well.

You could write something like this ....

Over the past few years, my friends' list has grown, and I realize there are many of you I don’t know very well. I’d love to change that! Here’s my idea: let’s create a "dance card" – a chance to connect one-on-one, whether in person, online, or over the phone. If you're interested, drop a comment below, and I'll reach out to schedule our time to chat! 😊

Does your business only offer products/services in Canada?

Did you know that you can hide your page from anyone outside Canada?

Click on profile picture, top right
Click on 'settings & privacy'
Click on 'settings'
Then down the left, click on 'followers and public content'
Scroll down to 'country restrictions' and edit there :)

When you first created your Facebook account, did you use an email that you no longer have access to or are not using?

Do you want to add your current email as your primary for logging in and getting emails from Facebook?

➡️ Step 1
Go to your personal timeline
Click on the 'About' tab
Down the left hand side, click on 'Contact and Basic Information'
Click the 'Edit' button or the 'pencil' next to where the email address in
'Add' the NEW email address and save
(You may have to do a verification via email, BUT it will tell you)
Hit 'Save'

➡️ Step 2
Refresh your page or click the 'Home' tab to refresh
Then go back into where the email addresses are and this time when you click on the edit/pencil, you will now check the box next to your new one and make it the 'primary' email address.

Now, you will be able to log in with the email address you are currently using.

P.S. This would be a GREAT time to add a secondary email for extra safety 🙂

Make sure you have a backup Admin on your Business Page....if you don't and you lose access to your Facebook, you will lose access to your Biz Page. By adding another Admin, they can add you back onto your Biz Page when you create your new account.

✔️ When on the Business Page profile, click on the profile pic, top right
✔️ Click on 'settings & privacy'
✔️ Click on 'settings'
✔️ Down the left, click on 'Page Setup'
✔️ Then 'Page Access"
✔️ Search for the person's name to add them and make sure to give them FULL admin control (this is needed so they can add you back on if needed)

My Story

I have a passion for helping small business owners create their presence on Facebook. I have been working Facebook for many, many years, in creating my own brand, and have found that when you focus on selling yourself, when you ask questions, when you motivate, when you interact, you start building relationships, which ultimately will bring people to you.

I started using Facebook when it first launched to build a direct sales business. During my building journey, I started to really take an interest in everything that Facebook had to offer us. As I was building relationships with other business owners and they were seeing my growth, they approached me to teach them about what I was doing on Facebook. This launched my Training business. Through the training and overwhelming them with all that Facebook offers, I was getting requests to manage other people’s businesses on Facebook, which launched my Business Page Management package. The direct sales company I was in closed their doors and at the time, I decided to focus on my Facebook business, building it to what it is now.
