During the school closure time, I miss seeing all my students. However, I received many messages from my former students. That really warms my heart during this tough time.
One of my former piano students Ethan sent me a very touching message today that melt my heart. So happy to see my former students are doing so well and they still remember me. This is the most wonderful reward for teaching. Thank you to all my students who have given me so much laughter, happiness and memory. I miss you all.

This is what Ethan wrote to me and sent me a picture that he drew.
"Hi Mrs. Chow, It’s Ethan C.
I’m not sure how well you remember me, but I was very sad when you left Muskoka. I know I wasn’t the best student, but one of my biggest regrets was not taking your lessons as seriously as I ought to have had. I’m a student at Sheridan now, working on my bachelor of animation, and I’m still forever enthralled by music, even theory now. I wasn’t able to continue piano much longer after you left (no one could replace you) but I wanted to thank you anyways. In many ways, you had been more family to me than the many aunts, uncles, and grandparents that I never got to see. The echoes of your influence still shape who I am, especially as an artist. Even though I don’t play music as much as I’d like to anymore, I’ve learned to channel what you taught me about art and discipline into other aspects of my life.Thank you, from the depths of my heart."

A big congratulation to my student Adrit Panda who won the Junior Singer Contract Award at GOCAA International Vocal Competition at Berklee College of Music (Boston Conservatory). For receiving this award, he will do the winners concert tour around China and do a professional studio recording. What a great achievement and memory to wrap up my 15+ years of private teaching in Ontario.

Congratulations to all students who achieved good marks in RCM June exams. All my students achieved over 80%. There are 13 students achieved over 90% in practical exams. It is not easy to get 90%+ in practical exam. So proud of all of them.

INSPIRING SOUNDS MUSIC STUDIO CLOSURE NOTICE - IMPORTANT ANNOUNCEMENT

Dear all,
I regret to inform you that Inspiring Sounds Music Studio (Barrie location) will be closed on June 24th, 2019 as we will be moving to another province. This is due to my husband receiving a job promotion.

Unfortunately, our studio will not be providing any music instructions to students in Barrie after June 24th, 2019. Our last week of lessons will be from June 17th to 21st, 2019.

We will host the farewell recital on June 1st at the Westside Lutheran Church at 2 p.m. It will be our last public performance of our studio. Admission is free and everyone is welcome. Hope to see you all there.

I would like to thank you for your business for the last 2.5 years in Barrie (over 15 years in Ontario). It was truly a great pleasure working with you and all students. I have had many wonderful memories with all students and so proud of every one of them who achieved great successes in their learning.

Thank you for being a part of Inspiring Sounds music family! I am grateful that you chose me as a teacher for your child’s musical education. Wishing all my students the best in their future musical journey. We can always keep in touch by emails or Facebook in the future.
