Maga hat and I saw old mountain-veteran biologist David as we headed up. He assured us there was nobody to be seen anywhere around and we all agreed that was probably to be expected this day. Sure enough, Maga hat and I found ourselves later ensconced in cloud with flurries of snow coming down, but despite a stiff wind the temperature remained mild.
