Autumn House is a fantastic resource to talk to someone about safety within your relationships. For those who prefer, we offer Lilac Place as a secondary location for meetings with Autumn House staff. And, of course, Lilac Place staff are available for one-on-ones if you want to talk

After spending some time to review our current Reclaim Your Power program, we're excited to be offering it again starting this July!

Registration for cohorts one and two are now open:

Cohort One (Afternoon) - July 22nd-September 2nd
Week 1&7 - 2-4pm
Week 2-5 - 2-3:30pm
10 Lawrence Street, Amherst, NS

Cohort Two (Evening) - September 23rd-November 5th
Week 1&7 - 5-7pm
Week 2-5 - 5-6:30pm
10 Lawrence Street, Amherst, NS

A sneak peak into what's changed -

Instead of 6-weeks, we've decided to add an additional week to our programming. Week 5 will be an off-script, integration group, where facilitators put together an activity that incorporate learning from previous weeks, while embracing body trust, embraving confidence, and empowering new possibilities.

To help build safety, facilitators are still available to meet with individuals prior to the beginning of a cohort. Detailed welcome packages will be available to collect in person upon meeting with staff, with a video tour upon registration, so folks know what to expect before visiting our space for the first time. Individuals will be assigned a private meeting time as they register. During initial in-person meetings, staff will close the space to ensure comfort, confidentiality, and one-on-one support as needed.

For additional supports, we will be soon welcoming a new face to the team that we're eager to introduce, as well as offer a second tier of support, which will be disclosed to participants upon registration to ensure confidentiality.

As always, all of our offered programming, including Reclaim Your Power, is free! If there are additional questions about our RYP program or accommodations needed in order to participate in a cohort, we encourage you to reach out.

To register or ask questions, please text/call Lilac Place, at 902-664-1272.

We see you. We hear you. We believe you.
