Happy birthday today to my dad Shawn Risling !!

I definitely have you to thank for my love of music and exploring dubstep and electronic music when I was younger, and showing a genuine interest that sparked my love for the music I love now (and also why I can go from listening to Five Finger Death Punch, to the Chemical Brothers or DJ Scooter in the next song lol).

You not only helped me explore music which is a HUGE part of my life today, but also my first gaming buddy (i still remember the day I beat you in Halo 2 as a kid 😂😂). You helped me explore my interests in music, games, movies (i still watch mortal kombat annually), and how I try and carry myself as a man with the strength and courage I watched you display while I was growing up.

We have ups and downs like any family does, but I am very proud and thankful to call you my dad, and role model.

These are just a few of my favourite pictures throughout the years! I hope you have an amazing day dad and that you get some much deserved relaxing.

Happy Mothers day to my amazing mom !!!

Every year I never know what to say to the amazing woman that raised me, loves me unconditionally, and that has always been in my corner, and how do I show that appreciation in just one day?

We were there for each other when we didn't have anyone else and we will always have that. Through all the ups and downs in my life, I knew I always had you as a constant, as this bright light at the end of a bad day of school, or just being lonely sometimes as a kid as kids do sometimes, or just wanting to show someone the hundreth car or house picture i drew.

I remember the subway lunches while we watched movies on our couch while having naps on weekends, or taking me on zoo trips, or trips to BC. Looking back on that as an adult, I know a tiny amount of how many sacrifices you made for us, how hard you work for your family, and how much you care for everyone around you, even if its someone you don't know.

I can never thank you, or repay you for being such an amazing mom, but I can carry the important lessons you taught me growing up with me throughout my life and eventually teach my family one day the same amazing things you taught me, even if its a fraction of the "goodness" that you are and show to everyone.

You taught me how to be caring, compassionate, and loving even in the face of adversity. I carry so much of what you have taught me throughout my life, and I wouldn't be half the person I am today if it wasn't for you, the amazing life you gave me growing up, and how you were the shield for me that made life magical, wonderful, and safe as a kid.

In an infinite amount of lifetimes I would pick you as my mom every single time.

I love you so much mom and I hope you have an amazing mothers day. Im sorry I couldn't be home, but I know the boys will make sure to spoil you!!

I recently made a post on my personal accounts basically saying im only posting the relative content to the pages i run. No more posting to my main account as its just not productive for me to do and would rather focus on building a community of people over here!

I just want to say, if you are here from that post... THANK YOU!!!!! Thank you for supporting me, my music, my dreams, and hopefully one day, my career. As I said in my main post, I make this stuff for me mainly, but I also like to make music for people to enjoy, to take them away from life for a couple minutes, or let them let loose and dance, whatever it is, thats another reason why I love music. It can connect people, grow communities, and bring once enemies together.

So thank you for checking out my page, helping me try and make the world a miniscule amount better through music if I can help it, and for being a part of my journey.
