Cops for cancer 👍

We were honored to host the incredible and dedicated riders of this year’s Cops for Cancer Tour de Valley, comprised of emergency service personnel from the Fraser Valley Region of BC. Their 800km journey raises awareness and funds for childhood cancer research and support services at the Canadian Cancer Society.

We wish them a safe and memorable journey as they continue over the coming days.

🎬 Filming Notice: Please be aware that there will be filming activity in Downtown Abbotsford from May 20th to 23rd as well as May 29th to 31st on Montrose Avenue.

During filming, there will be up to 3-minute traffic holds on Montrose Avenue. The alleyway behind Clearbridge, next to Spruce Collective, will be closed to traffic during these dates.

Sadie (Golden retriever) was surrendered to LAPS and Moose (Dogo Argentino mix) was found as a stray. These three month olds have become fast friends and have the best time together at the shelter as they await for their adoption day to come!

Household Hazardous Waste Day (HHWD) is on Saturday, May 11. Residents of Mission and Fraser Valley Regional District Electoral Areas C, F & G (proof required) can drop off residential hazardous waste at the Mission Recycling Depot from 9:00 am – 1:00 pm.

No commercial or agricultural products will be accepted.
