What is a Netflix household?
A Netflix household is defined as people who live in the same location as the account owner. A household includes all devices connected to the same internet address where you mainly watch Netflix.

What happens if you share your password outside your household?
People who are not in your household will need to sign up for their own account to watch Netflix. Netflix may charge extra per month to add a device on a different internet address.

Why is Netflix cracking down on password sharing?
Netflix claims that password sharing impacts its ability to invest in new TV and films.

How does Netflix know if you are sharing passwords?
Netflix detects password sharing through analysis of IP addresses, device IDs, and usage patterns, allowing them to identify instances of shared accounts and address them accordingly."
