In light of her illness, the family shares her unexpected experience.

A tropical wave currently making it's way through Central America will produce showers of rain and thunderstorm activity over the country of Belize.
Rain forecasted for areas in the Corozal District on Tuesday through to Wednesday.

The General Public is advised that the paving of a portion of 8th AVENUE (between 5th Street South & 6th Street South) will be carried out today, August 12, 2024.
Traffic access will be interrupted as paving is carried out. Heavy machinery will also be operating in the area.

Earlier today, Corozal Live received information regarding a dead Manatee in the Corozal Bay. Upon verification at the scene, a dead Manatee calf was observed floating in the water. Mr. Ryan Rivera at Oceana was notified, who subsequently made a call to Sarteneja Alliance for Conservation and Development - Belize.
SACD retrieved the dead Manatee calf, and will carry out an investigation to find out the possible cause of death.

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of a Beloved Husband, Father, Grandfather, Brother, Uncle and Friend

The thanksgiving service to celebrate his precious life will be held at Saint Francis Xavier Parish on Sunday, August 11th 2024 at 2:00 pm.
Interment follows at Mount Olivet Cemetery.
